  Marc Jampole will be available for questions about his new book, "Music From Words," published in 2007 by Bellday Books, Inc. Some of his poems have been featured in The Mississippi Review, The Oxford Review, and Mainstreet Rag. Those interested in experimental, non-autobiographical poetry, history, social criticism and art are especially invited to attend, peruse samples and contribute. Topics include but are not limited to:

1) How important are the sound and musical qualities in poetry?

2) Have poets gone too far in focusing on autobiography to the exclusion of all else? Has the audience for poetry become too conditioned to assuming the voice equals the author?

3) How much should a poet expect from his/her audience in terms of looking up odd words or historical references?

4) How the arts cross-pollinate (jazz in Music from Words)
