Unlikely Stories
Ernest Slyman
InterBoard Poetry Competition
Edited by Johnathan Penton, Unlikely Stories is one of the most interesting and thorough archives of poets artists, interviews, and articles on the internet. It is a collection of Literary Art well worth a visit. What strikes me as unique about Ernest Slyman's personal site is that before you even get to his work, you are presented with an extensive page of photographs of, with links to, other poets on the net. A who dedicates the front page of their site to this 'Poet Watch' is altruistically commendable and fully aligned with the Poetry Super Highway's mission of exposing as many people to as many other people's poetry as possible. Well done Ernest. The InterBoard Poetry Competition is an ongoing monthly InterBoard Poetry Competition that encourages interaction and community building while showcasing the best talent of participating boards. Like Sundress.net last year, this kind of collective effort helps to build bridges between online writing communities in what could otherwise be a very competitive environment. Kudos to Web Del Sol for sponsoring this unique collaborative project!
